In the frame of the Barcelona UOC Chair in Digital Economy, Dimmons IN3 UOC, the Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa launch Matchimpulsa, a transversally feminist programme to foster the digital platformization of Social and Solidarity Economy and Platform Economy in the city of Barcelona. This innovative programme emerged as a response to the current social crisis context resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. It seeks to promote economies with social transformative values, especially Social and Solidarity and Feminist Economy, to strengthen local economic circularity and to promote a favourable environment for the economic acceleration of projects focused on the people’s welfare and the right to the city.
